WrisText uses joystick-like wrist motion to select among six circular keys and implements a prototype watchband augmented with 12 proximity sensors plus a pinch-detection sensor. Keyboard layout places letters alphabetically into six 60° keys holding four or five letters to balance striking accuracy vs. ambiguity. A five-day study with 10 participants yields an average 9.9 WPM and peak 15.2 WPM (hand-down improves with practice), showing the hardware and language-model-assisted disambiguation work in practice.
