WearWrite is a prototype that lets a smartwatch user dictate writing tasks and answer questions while a distributed crowd edits a Google Doc via a Dynamic Task Queue. A week-long study has seven smartwatch users who each interact with about ≈29 crowd workers per user (205 workers total); the system automatically accepts minor edits but not large inserts/deletes, and users accept 96% of edits, using the crowd work as a usable starting draft.
