summary

Opening remarks list hard numbers and new projects: the foundation reports 2 million trained, 30th anniversary Linux scale, 750 hosted projects and 30,000 contribution agreements processed. New efforts claim concrete outputs: an Open 3D Engine (C++ core, Python/Qt extensions, CMake builds, DirectX12/Vulkan/Metal + ray tracing, cross‑platform runtimes) shows ~100 authors, ~600 commits and ~750k lines in month one; OpenTreatments/RareCamp (Apache 2.0) starts with ~15 contributors across 8 institutions; supply‑chain work surfaces Sigstore and Project Thoth for signing, provenance and AI-assisted devsecops.
