Flatpaks in Fedora - an update
summary
Fedora now builds Flatpaks from existing RPMs using rpm-to-flatpak plus Fedora modularity, Koji and a container build service, publishing to the Fedora registry. The system produces Fedora-based runtimes and app Flatpaks (rebuilding packages to move files under /app). Currently three Flatpaks are in the Fedora remote (vs ~450 on Flathub and ~1,000 Fedora GUI apps), with automation, automatic rebuilds, extensions and signatures planned. Users add the Fedora flatpak remote (standard or testing).
