Using Android Things to Detect & Exterminate Reptilians

Talkat Devoxx Belgium 2017 · 2017-11-06..11-10· [embedded-and-hardware, android]
slides:none on file

A prototype uses Android Things on a Raspberry Pi with an Arduino to sense human‑like skin temperature and capacitive touch, runs a small on‑device ML model to classify targets, and drives servomotors to aim an actuator. The implementation uses GPIO/PWM/I2C, camera input and the touch/temperature sensors, and the demo cycles from detection to actuation in under a second.
