A wrist-mounted electrical stimulator prototypes skin itching by delivering controlled biphasic current through two electrodes; hardware is a boost converter plus constant-current stage and open-source firmware. Random parameter sampling identifies itch-producing settings around 60 Hz, 3.8 ms pulse width, 0.2 mA before per-user calibration. A smartwatch comparison shows calibrated electrical itch induces sensation in ~90% of trials and rates as markedly more activating and interrupting than standard vibrotactile feedback.
