Demo: Accelerating SW Development and Validation of RISC-V Based Designs

links:none on file

Synopsys Virtualizer provides preconfigured RISC-V VDKs (SiFive, Andes, Synopsys ARC 5 incoming) that simulate full SoCs as pure software, install in 30 minutes to install and get developers running start software development in a day. VDKs are extensible—an Ethernet subsystem is added live, cores swapped from X280 to Andes or Open cores, and standard GDB/Verdi debug attaches to view registers and set breakpoints. Cloud ZebuCloud and HAPS 100 (example with four RISC-V cores) are shown; the VDKs reliably boot OpenSBI and Linux out of the box.
