Secrets of the Support Library

" summary

Support library reveals: AppCompat adds AppCompat daynight (24.1) that switches themes by updating UI_MODE and calling resources.updateConfiguration, using location-based sunrise/sunset or hardcoded 10:00 p.m./6:00 a.m.; AppBarLayout suffers a lost-fling bug because nested scrolling stops when touch ends so leftover velocity isn’t transferred; a prototype called indirect nested scrolling sends pre-scroll/scroll events during flings and programmatic scrolls and works locally though it’s not yet landed.
