" summary

Opens the conference week by giving concrete community numbers and participation paths: ~3,000 attendees on site, 380 Java user groups worldwide and a Java ecosystem of over 10 million devs. Explains concrete ways to participate — run Early Access builds, follow OpenJDK mailing lists, file bug reports — and cites a live bug found in jshell (printline vs IO.println) and a real change: string templates removed from Java 23 for more refinement. Live streams and BoF sessions are scheduled all week.
