A live micro‑benchmarking site quick-bench.com runs Google Benchmark suites in the browser and shows bar charts; it generates one million random numbers with Mersenne Twister and copies the vector inside the timing loop so initialization is excluded. Measured results show nth_element vs partial_sort: nth_element finds medians far faster, partial_sort is surprisingly slower than a full sort plus a subsequent trim, and the demo works end to end.
