"Welcome"
summary
Opening logistics and announcements cover sponsors, exhibit activity, and attendee services: a long sponsor list is read aloud and the gold sponsors: D Facebook scooner and Tara are named, a booth-crawl video is split across breaks because the exhibit hall is packed, and the passport prize (including an iPad) requires submission by passport deadline 4:00pm at O'Reilly Booth. Sessions and at least one track are being uploaded as videos and slides, Duncan's Flickr stream documents attendees, and a staffed Career Zone 9:30–1 connects hiring companies with candidates and a conference survey is available.
