Rainbows! Color Theory for Computers

Builds a smoothed simulation of fluids using smoothed-particle hydrodynamics and maps each particle’s pressure to visual brightness via the Ruby graphics Gem (installable with --pre) so the code actually runs on the GPU. Explains why simple RGB gradients mislead (Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect, opponent-process ideas) and implements Dave Green’s cube helix spiral to produce a perceptually consistent dark‑to‑light colormap. The demo is implemented in the library and it works.
