ggdist is an R extension to ggplot2 that maps PDFs CDFs and quantiles onto aesthetics to build uncertainty plots. It accepts samples or distributional vector objects, auto-detects discrete distributions (Poisson → histogram), corrects densities under transforms (lognormal derivative), sizes dots automatically for combined rainclouds, and supports true gradient support in R 4.1 for zoomable SVG/PDF output. It subdivides slabs to color regions and offers a fill ramp aesthetic for color-to-white ramps.
