Blazor, a new framework for browser-based .NET apps

Talkat NDC Minnesota 2018 · 2018-05-07..05-10· [web-platform, webassembly]
slides:none on file

Blazor runs full .NET in the browser by shipping a Mono WebAssembly runtime and normal .NET assemblies (about 1.81 MB payload over 18 requests) and supports both pure client-side and ASP.NET Core–hosted projects with a shared .NET library for domain types. Components use Razor, DI and HttpClient; the demo builds a counter, fetch-data table, a shortlist backed by a simple state container, a reusable gray-out render fragment, and persistence via JS interop via IJSRuntime (localStorage), all working end-to-end.
