Time Warp
summary
A filmed, electrified cover of Richard O'Brien’s "Time Warp" produced and mixed by John Spiker and edited by Taylor Stephens repurposes the Rocky Horror song as a 2020 vote-drive anthem ROCK-Y THE VOTE. It layers electric guitar, piano, bass, drums and multi-part background vocals, keeps the original choreography and lyrics, and stitches quick-cut cameos from Ezra Miller, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren and others into a high-energy Time Warp cover that reads as a music video more than a lecture with a long cameo roll call.
