Alive and Kicking - A Vue Into Rock & Roll
summary
A Vue app ties QR-driven voting to a live set: live voting via Supabase + Next updates an up-next list and bounces avatars on a 60 FPS Canvas; audio files live on Cloudinary and the browser plays backing tracks while a Web Audio-based visualization runs. The browser also sends commands to a virtualized amplifier so guitar tone changes per song — browser-controlled amp presets. Vocals and drums are AI-removed and many parts are rerecorded into AI-processed 2-minute backing tracks. The system holds up live despite some spam.
