A personal book catalog called X libris launches 13 days ago, uses Open Library as its editable metadata source, limits the free trial to 50 books then charges $1/month, donates 10% to Internet Archive and plans to push user edits back to Open Library; current bugs include missing covers. A second project, Cascade, is a free multiplayer word game built with CSS 3D transforms and websockets, supports up to four players, prototypes with stutter now and a native Android release due in two months.
