JSConf changed my life
summary
JSConf inspires a chain of concrete actions: a domain registration for nodejitsu.com on April 19th 2010 a day after the event, early adoption and frequent use of node in production, founding and running EmpireJS and EmpireNode, organizing events that raise money (donates about $ 3,35 to a Suicide Hotline) and that sometimes cause burnout, and a pattern of building community rituals and open‑source contributions that repeatedly prove useful and consequential.
