GPHash is a hash index designed for GPU systems that use byte-granularity persistent memory (GPM). It implements lock-free, warp-cooperative index operations on the GPU, uses CAS and per-slot states to provide low-overhead consistency, and caches hot items in GPU DRAM to mitigate the persistent-memory/GPU bandwidth gap. Performance claims come from YCSB and real-world workload evaluations showing up to 27.62× speedups over prior CPU-assisted and GPM hash-index designs.
