Where the Wild Things Are
summary
Argues that the community wins by doing concrete work not slogans and shows that with examples: wrote Kronos (date formatter), a TCP mailer Hermes that actually sends mail, a parser and an experimental web lib Coyote built on Cowboy and OTP. Tracks growth with a newsletter and myelixirstatus hashtag. Notes surprising numbers: ElixirConf grows from ~100 to ~600 in three years and most of 500+ attendees now report Elixir in production. Advocates deep exploration of BEAM and building real tools.
