What's new in Android Studio ~Arctic Fox & Bumblebee~
summary
Arctic Fox (2020.3.1 Beta) and Bumblebee (2021.1.1 Canary/Dev) add concrete upgrades: AGP 7.x aligns with Gradle 7.x and requires JDK 11 for Java 11 language features; Compose gets live literals, interactive and animation previews and a deploy-to-emulator preview; testing moves to a Unified Test Platform with a single Gradle-driven test runner, test matrices, snapshots to resume failures and headless emulators for faster runs; AVD Manager becomes Device Manager; WorkManager inspector, updated memory profiler and RenderScript deprecation round out the list.
