Explains how to build Google Assistant Actions today with concrete demos: conversation actions only on Google Home, API dot AI agents, webhook fulfillment with Node/Express on Heroku, SSML for speech, and custom entities (pizza, alarms, weather) that actually parse and return responses. Covers naming rules, context lifetimes (default five requests), publishing requirements and manual review (~one month), and limitations: no direct actions yet and no unsolicited push to devices. Shows working simulators and a live webhook example.
