Welcome and introduction
summary
13th edition CPDP opens with a practical briefing: 80–85 panels across two buildings with a four-minute walk between them, sessions livestreamed to YouTube, and many panels mixing disciplines rather than repeating the same viewpoints. Expect an art exhibition at Botanique, a CPDP radio running for three days, a Pecha Kucha evening, an official party on Thursday (full moon), an early lunch option at Area 42, and advice to chairs to start sessions on time so panels keep to schedule.
