Accessible Math on the Web: A Server/Client Solution

links:none on file
slides:none on file

A server/client pipeline converts LaTeX or MathML into three concrete outputs: SVG with embedded MathSpeak, raw MathML, and MathML rendered by MathJax, produced by a NodeJS server during the documentation build and served to browsers and screen readers. ARIA attributes link the SVG to a supplemental MathML page as a fallback; Chrome currently fails to render MathML so the supplemental page is required. The implementation uses MathJax (and MongoDB for storage in the uploader notes) and is open on GitHub.
