Hands-on contributor workshop that shows actual edits: clone orca and deck, run telepresence swap to run orca locally, use IntelliJ and gradle to launch orca, and yarn dev to run deck after port‑forwarding gate and deck. The repo uses Spinnaker 1.22.x, kustomize manifests, and an in‑cluster minio object store; the cluster exposes ~10 core microservices. A new my special stage is added (orca task returns outputs, deck reads outputs), and the pipeline stage runs successfully end‑to‑end.
