"First timers session"
summary
Starts with actionable details: code of conduct applies to everyone, the safety team phone on the back of your badge is the contact for any concern, bathrooms in the Expo and outside Goldfields are gender neutral, and bathroom baskets have emergency sanitary supplies. Venue map is printed on the badge, AV test station and speakers lounge are by Room A, and three concurrent tracks mean you must choose now and watch the other recordings later. Use the Pac-Man rule in hallway conversations, check the jobs board and Discord, and consider lightning talks or volunteering.
