JKU provides a toolkit that integrates with Qiskit and claims real gains by using decision diagrams for matrix and state compression; the simulator ddsim runs 100,000-shot examples and often outperforms standard simulators on large circuits while admitting cases where it slows down. The mapper qmap offers an exact SAT-backed method that produces provably optimal swap placement (examples show a single required swap). The verifier qcec multiplies the original with the inverse of the compiled circuit to reach a compact identity and verifies compilation quickly. All code is on GitHub and a web frontend demo is available.
