QOS is a modular quantum OS with an LLVM-like compiler and a runtime (estimator, compatibility-based multi-programming, scheduler) implemented in Python on top of KissKit that maps, optimizes, bundles and schedules circuits on IBM QPUs. Evaluation uses 7,000 real runs across >70,000 benchmark instances and reports effective utilization improvements up to 9.6×, waiting-time reductions up to 5×, and fidelity gains of 2.6–456.5× while only trading off ~1–3% fidelity on average for higher throughput.
