Identifies where context sensitivity matters by spotting direct, rep and unwrap flows that cause objects from different callers to merge, encodes them in a precision flow graph, and runs a fast context-insensitive pre-analysis to find methods involved. Implements this as zipper (Deeper) in Java, applies context sensitivity only to 38% of methods, and reports preserving ~98.8% of a full context-sensitive analysis’s precision while giving a 3.4X average speedup (up to 9.2X).
