6 End Users and What They Love about Cloud Native

on YouTube ↗20m

" summary

CNCF end user community totals about 140 members and the ecosystem spans 80+ projects and nearly 1,000 tools; a live demo on a tiny cluster (one master, one worker) extracts a secret via kubectl, writes winner and password to files, base64 decodes the winner data and then decrypts with the password, revealing the top end user award winner as Spotify. The walkthrough exposes Kubernetes secrets’ double-encoding gotcha and the decode+decrypt sequence which successfully recovers the plaintext.
