How I built my own music performance software in JavaScript

Built a JavaScript performance tool that drives an Ableton Push controller end to end: reads pads via web MIDI, renders the push display from a canvas, converts pixels to 16-bit RGB565 frames, XORs bytes for USB signal shaping, and streams 60 fps to the device over libusb inside Electron. It is pattern-based, controls synths by standard MIDI (127 velocity levels, 16 channels), is on GitHub and npm, and it works live.
