Performance aspects of Axon-based CQRS-ES systems

Axon Framework + Axon Server use an append-only event store split into disk-backed segments with an in‑memory index and bloom filters to keep append/read latency constant as size grows. Routing commands with consistent hashing reduces cache-invalidation conflicts; snapshotting reduces reconstruction spikes to a few events. Replays speed up by batching (1,000→~4,000 msg/s), parallelism (8 threads→~15,000 msg/s) and DB-optimized handlers (combined statements → 30,000 events/sec), turning a 10M-event replay from ~11 hours down to minutes.
