is awarded Java Champion status
summary
Awarded Java Champion status live at Jfokus 2021 just before the closing keynote, with the selection voted by peers through a long‑running community-run program that began at Sun Microsystems and now runs with Oracle support. Cited reasons: dozens of conference talks worldwide (including KubeCon), active mentoring of new learners, and community leadership. A physical insignia and “uniform” are sent to recipients, and this announcement is a formal recognition of ongoing contributions.
