Improving Wireless PAN Support
summary
Adds missing IEEE 802.15.4 MAC management: implements MLME scanning, beaconing and association in the Linux stack with new netlink commands and a user tool based on iw (the iwpan tool). Introduces a coordinator subinterface, supports passive and active scans, configurable beacon order, and updates address filters for associations. Patch series runs ~60–70 patches (first ~10 on mailing list, full work on GitHub). Demo uses three 802.15.4 USB sticks plus a Zephyr Arduino Nano BLE and Wireshark — scans, associates, disassociates and shows frames successfully.
