summary
A run-through of conference logistics and lessons learned: DevNexus claims to be the largest Java conference by tracks, AJUG/DevRel events run ~20–25 years, and new US conferences are launching in Denver and Dallas this September. Videos often ship months late because volunteer-run teams (an 8-person board plus day-of helpers) chase perfection; a practical fix is to stream live to publish videos immediately. Expect concrete scheduling and venue choices.
