Resilience by Design

Argues for building failure-aware systems by design and demos a tiny DNA-vault pipeline that composes a 1000ms default timeout, a retry 3x with 500ms backoff (exponential options), JCache-backed caching and a circuit breaker whose ring buffer decides open/closed state. Uses Resilience-for-clj ergonomics, Infinispan (and other cache providers) for a distributed cache, emits events and mutable metrics for monitoring, and supports controllable protocol-backed fakes so QA toggles resilience strategies via feature flags and runs targeted tests.
