summary
Conference roots begin as two developers self‑funding trips and grow into five editions now organized by AIT Ticino with a program chosen from over 100 submissions. Today 306 participants attend, 29 talks span English and Italian evenly, 77% come from Ticino and female attendance edges to 13%. Organizers shift next year to a Friday, push companies to budget for open source maintenance and training, and highlight one project that started as a conference reservation tool and became a paying business.
