Let the Scala compiler work for you

Live coding builds a small Compute typeclass with type member that infers instances inductively for List, returns different refined result types per input, and propagates those refined types through calls; literal singleton types require the Typelevel Scala fork and explicit .type annotations but then let values compute types. Also demoed shapeless extensible records (indexing by singleton field names) and referenced frameless DataFrame column checks and GHC type holes; examples compile with a few inference caveats but effectively show the compiler giving actionable, precise feedback.
