A VSCode extension called ScalaF detects imperative patterns (mutable loops, nested conditionals) and suggests concrete refactorings to map/pattern-match and enable parallelization; backend uses Scala.meta backend and quasiquotes to analyze ASTs rather than blind search‑and‑replace. Demo surfaces 475 refactorings in one file and reports 627 refactorings across 43 files for a workspace, supports edit/accept/reject, directory scans, custom pattern .txt templates, and leaves correctness checks to human review; source code is public and no LM benchmarks yet.
