Blockscout is an open‑source EVM block explorer used by 800+ networks and compatible with the hundreds more launching; it offers REST API, GraphQL, an Etherscan‑compatible RPC and JSON‑RPC fallbacks, plus on‑chain contract verification that recompiles submitted sources and matches bytecode, imports from Sourcify, shares bytecodes across instances, and is building a unified “verifierlines” index. A hackathon 5K pool is split among teams that make Blockscout the primary explorer, verify contracts on Blockscout, or consume its APIs in their projects.
