ScalaIO 2019 Closing words
summary
Conference wraps with concrete changes and outcomes: a new schedule replacing Google Sheets actually ships, community party logistics move from chaos to a repeatable setup, and badge sustainability is real with recyclable badge holders and cleaned lanyards returned for reuse. Two patches drawn at random win a 2020 ticket, lunches get credited to a named vendor, and an annual general meeting invites volunteers to join the ScalaIO team and help run next year.
