Provides a Python package that downloads and merges the CITES CSVs (over 20 million shipment records) and FAO trade data into a single clean dataframe, fills missing taxonomy via ITIS integration, and lets users subset (example: genus Python imports to USA, 1996–2017) then produce bar charts and time series. Prototype already extracts, aggregates, and plots shipments; future work adds out-of-core data frames and network analysis and a GUI for non-Python users.
