Welcome & Opening
summary
Conference opens with logistics: an evening Rogue West bar social with board games and food, a morning student breakfast, workshops (many signed up) and a 10:00am coffee break for temporary badge pickup. Yesterday hosts the first extension ecosystem summit and a group run that left half the runners lost and waiting 40 minutes. Unconference sessions are scheduled by live proposal and voting using a simple ranking algorithm. Keynote is Dr. Margo Seltzer on hardware and databases; recordings and a code of conduct are enforced.
