summary

OpenSearch reports concrete growth: contributor activity rises from about 70–80 to top 20 contributor rank since joining the Linux Foundation, with community input across 130 GitHub repositories and active Slack and forum channels. The platform claims production-scale readiness and advances in AI search, observability and analytics. The conference series expands from a 2022 Seattle launch into India, Europe and Japan, and a local user group in Tokyo forms now; organizers run on-site giveaways and open CFPs for Shanghai and Prague.
