Joe's JavaScriptLandia Jamboree
summary
Room of volunteers improvises short startup pitches for absurd apps — centaur payments, pet music streaming, yoga brunches, contractor support — with no production demos and only a few concrete tech mentions like Constant Contact, ChatGPT, and GitHub’s OCTA kit. Most pitches claim pivots, layoffs, or App Store/Play Store releases but provide no metrics or working prototypes; applause follows punchlines, not product validation. Session functions as social brainstorming and rapid-fire feedback, not a technical show-and-tell.
