summary
Welcome note sets logistics and surprises: venue theme is steampunk and the event records 800 attendees, 38 international speakers, 40 volunteers, five tracks with an added Quercus full track, and 31 sessions; 28 sponsors fund about 80% of the budget so tickets stay low.
