Jazon is an open-source Java/Groovy library that makes JSON assertions concise and robust, showing live Spock examples that execute and produce readable mismatch paths. It supports unordered arrays (assert set membership instead of order), lets tests embed user-defined assertions (Groovy closures like elements size or date format), reduces duplication with default maps, reports human-readable errors for fast tracing, and provides simple adapters (Spock, JUnit) so it is extensible to JVM projects and demonstrably works in the demo.
