Data2viz is an open source Kotlin multiplatform visualization library that compiles one common model to Android, JavaScript and JavaFX with iOS next, porting many D3 algorithms into Kotlin and replacing DOM state with an in‑memory scene graph rendered to each platform’s canvas. Crossplatform gaps such as arc APIs and angle units are normalized with expect/actual shims, tests render via Puppeteer and simulator image capture with pixel-by-pixel image comparison, artifacts ship to Maven and about 95% common code powers charts and a live Data2viz playground.
