Erlesy claims to read Erlang source, use the OTP parser to build an abstract syntax tree and extract gen_fsm states and transitions into a digraph which can be emitted as dot or JSON and rendered with Graphviz or D3 it parses real Motorola production modules in seconds and produces readable state diagrams it currently handles typical state function returns and nested case clauses but struggles with computed next states and indirection and work on representing conditional branches is ongoing the project is on GitHub as Erlesy
