ElixirConf EU 2022 Highlights
summary
Day-long highlights celebrate 10 years of Elixir while naming concrete wins: a company reports using Elixir in production for more than five years, migrating core Rails systems into Elixir microservices for APIs, hiring engineers without prior Elixir experience, and running wide community events worldwide. A live-coded music tool, Sonic Pi, generates performance pieces used to teach computer science and to perform at festivals, with the presenter coding the party’s music and inviting others to code on stage.
